• API Endpoint Access: Request logging to monitor service health

When you interact with our machine learning services, you may provide:

• Chat Messages: Text prompts and conversations sent to our machine learning models
• TTS Requests: Text content submitted for speech synthesis

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Service Protection: IP addresses and request metadata are used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, security, and enforcement of our Terms of Use and applicable law. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.
• Service Delivery: Processing your machine learning inference requests and returning responses
• Service Improvement: Monitoring service health and performance

Abuse Scanning and Sampling

Traffic to our services, including prompts and other request content, is subject to automated scanning and random sampling. We do this to detect and prevent abuse of the service, violations of our Terms of Use, and violations of applicable national law.

• Scanning: Automated systems inspect requests for abusive patterns, such as attacks on our infrastructure, attempts to circumvent rate limits, or prohibited content
• Random Sampling: A random portion of requests, including their content, may be captured and reviewed
• Retention of Samples: Captured content is kept only as long as needed to investigate and act on abuse, unless the law requires us to keep it longer
• Disclosure: We may disclose captured content and related logs when required by law, or to report abuse

Logging Practices

• Access Logs: IP addresses and request metadata are retained for up to one year
• Chat History: Not stored in the normal course of processing. Requests are processed and discarded, except content captured by scanning or random sampling as described above
• Abuse Records: Addresses involved in abuse, and the evidence of it, may be kept for as long as needed to keep blocking that abuse

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• HTTPS Encryption: All communications between clients on the Internet and our internal services use TLS/HTTPS encryption
• Limited Storage: Chat messages and TTS requests are not stored after processing, except content captured by scanning or random sampling
• Minimal Data Collection: We collect only what is necessary to provide the service and prevent abuse

Our website uses the following services, all part of the unturf.com umbrella:

• Remarkbox: Comment system for user discussions (also operated by unturf.com, subject to Remarkbox Privacy Policy)
